"Gentle-Beating" Of Wife-Something The Prophet Never Did

By 'The Prophet' i mean The Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h). And yes he never exercised any such 'power'(as we call it) over his wives. So is the ideology of Islamic Ideology Council of Pakistan more refined than the vision and teachings of my Beloved Prophet? I'm not saying they are wrong. But I'm saying the Prophet was right.
His first marriage was with

  • an older lady, and
  • a business woman.

He never Asked her to stop making her own money did he?
His Youngest wife was a business woman, and she still is roll modal of many young ambitious Muslim girls.
But I see in our society such ladies who are into business are not considered ..... that good. So is there something wrong with us, because that might mean something i don't want to say.
Another example, is the People who did the so-called blasphemy in his lifetime, were never punished instead they were treated so well that they'd rethink about what they were doing. In many known cases, they converted to Islam. Like that old lady who used to throw trash at the Holy Prophet, Isn't it the biggest example of Blasphemy. Or wait, Is it the people of Taif who threw stones at the Prophet and his companion upon their first visit. And the Angel Gabriel came down to crush the entire city in between two mountains but the Prophet not only refused to make any such dua. He prayed (all good) for the next generations of that city instead. Again i'm not saying there is anything wrong with the laws on Blasphemy, i'm just saying the Prophet (p.b.u.h) was right and his ways are the best ways.
He NEVER hit any of his wives, be it gently or not-so-gently. He just never did it. God Forbid, but do we think we are better then the Teacher Of Islam? Because THAT would be the actual Blasphemy. As the Prophet never did things that we are trying to include in our Islam. Beating of wives is a cultural problem of this part of the world and Islam has nothing to do with it. But mixing culture with religion is violence, and Muslims from all across the world, then, can have their say in it. Because if it is in Islam then there was no special version for this country or that country, there has always been One Islam, Muhammad(p.b.u.h)'s Islam. Any one trying to make any change to it has to answer questions asked by any follower of Muhammad (p.b.u.h) and his Islam. Because this is nothing close to what my Prophet taught.
